The best and most difficult relationship of your life will probably be with yourself. Who else can you spend so much time with, love so much, be angry with so often, feel proud of, feel let down by, feel amazed by, and who will never leave you? This relationship defines you more than any other relationship you will ever have. This relationship affects (more…)
In Love with You?
2Check. Check. Check 1, 2.
6Check. Check. Check 1, 2. Hey, guess what? Your body and mind never need a sound check. Never. Ever. Ever. Ever. (Sorry I was channeling Taylor Swift for a moment. I’m very sorry if it gets stuck in your head like it did mine.) Your mind and your body hear everything. They hear everything you hear from tv, radio, everything you see on facebook (more…)
Perfectly Imperfect Happiness.
1Hello, my name is Rebecca and I’m an imperfectionist.
I do not have a perfect life. I do, however, have a beautifully, perfectly imperfect life that I love. This life that I have is not without struggles, sadness, pain, frustration, or overwhelm. I am happy. I am happier than ever before.
Did something wonderful just happen to make me happy? (more…)
Just For You, Just Because
3So many times we put ourselves at the bottom of the list.
Stress and worries are at the top of the list. We worry about our family, our finances, our work, and then when the fun runs out we start all over again. Then we worry about what everyone else expects from us. So many expectations, aren’t there? Who we think we should be, how we should behave, how much smarter we should be, how much more driven we should (more…)

Be Mine?
0Mae West said, “I don’t like myself, I’m crazy about myself.”
Some super smart person who never took/accepted credit said, “You can explore the universe looking for somebody who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and you will not find that person anywhere.”

I know Valentine’s Day is all about loving “us” or whatever Hallmark is saying this year, but there is someone special patiently waiting for you to love him/her right back. Its YOU. (more…)
How to Catch A Thief.
0Today is a good day to practice looking around the present, instead of looking ahead with fear. Today is a good day to pay attention to what is happening now, instead of worrying about a “what if” that may not ever happen.
Fear is a thief. It robs of time. It robs us of our lives. Little by little, moment by moment. The quality of our lives is destroyed. If we take a look back at all of the things that we’ve worried about in the past and how much time we’ve spent worrying about them, we would be shocked. Let’s take a look back to last year. About what were your 2010 worries? What was on your list of worries? (more…)
How To Spend Money Without The Guilt By Agatha Kulesza~Guest Blogger
0What is the one thing that stops 99% of people from getting a handle on their money? SPENDING! And I’m not just talking about overspending – I lump the under spenders into the spending problem as well.
Why is spending such a problem for so many? Because, much like eating, it is connected to emotion. We feel crappy one day and we go out and buy something brand spanking new and then we all of a sudden feel better. Or we punish ourselves by not buying something we really want because we think we just don’t deserve it quite yet. We use spending as a drug, a punishment, and a reward program and it’s all dictated by how we feel in the moment.
You can STOP THE MADNESS by making choices that are in line your values. This is so simple if you have a pre-set plan for your spending. And it can be so much fun! (more…)
